Harmless to humans, these unhurried creatures can grow up to 10 feet long, and form an impressive sight as they glide leisurely along the reef. Hop over to a local village
Glimpse the Maldivian way of life by visiting nearby inhabited islands and a fish market. Sightsee at landmarks such as the mosque, school and community yard, and bring along some cash to spend at the quaint shops on the main street.
Sunset Cruise
All aboard the Dhoni! This traditional Maldivian boat is ready to take you on a romantic ride out in the ocean, as you enjoy the breath-taking sunset out on deck. Keep an eye out for dolphins!
Sand Bank
A lazy day out on the beach as a group, visiting a sandbank is one of the best ways to explore the Maldives. Go for a swim or a snorkel, or simply lie on the white sandy beach and enjoy the sunshine.

Diving
Long-time partners with Cinnamon, Dive & Sail are the ideal dive instructors to show you the uniqueness of the Vaavu Atoll, which Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives calls home. The Atoll is one of the least populated in the Maldives, and has, over the years, remained relatively untouched by human development. This makes it a prime dive area, as does the presence of large fish from the open sea. The docile nurse shark is a frequent visitor to the Vaavu Atoll, and is a magnificent sight to behold in person.
Canoeing
When you’re surrounded by so much beauty and luxury, you might wonder about a little humble perspective about it all. We say, wonder no more, just take a canoe.
